GOING ON VACATION

Well we are FINALLY going on vacation for a weekend! It's been 3 years since we have gone on a real vacation. We have decided to go to TYBEE Island in Savannah GA.. the reason we picked there instead of Panama city is because for one it's only a 4 hour drive vs a 6 1/2 hour drive, and Tybee Island is beautiful with Lighthouses and it's more family orientated.... I dont want to be on a beach with a bunch of college kids no offense, this is a family weekend... there is more to do on Tybee Island, outlet stores and family stuff to do, and it reminds me of MAINE (My favorite place of all time) ... I have always wanted to see the GULF, but the Atlantic Ocean is my HOME OCEAN... AND the weather is suppose to be nicer on Tybee Island than the gulf.. all that smoke in the air from the wild fires in Florida had me concerned, so Savannah it is!

We got a OCEAN front room for Saturday night... it's going to be a vacation WELL needed! I will take TONZ AND TONZ of photos... I have not taken my camera out on vacation at the beach in a LONG LONG time, 3 years to be exact when we went to Wilmington NC on our way down to GA to move here, so I am excited that I can get away from everything for a weekend!
