SIMPLY AMAZING!

Shane was across town, on the roof taking some photos of ligtning in the sky when he was lucky to get shots of the ACTUAL Tornado that ripped through Atlanta last Friday night.. I am SO ENVY of him for getting these photos... my day will come when I get my Tornado photo... I can't wait.. Take a look at these photos.. AMAZING..

Wicked Friday . . The Weekend is Here

It was nice because me and Amie went to the gym this morning and worked out, then we went to Serene Bean and had a hot chocholate and she had a coffee.. we talked for a while and that was nice, we have been so busy that we haven't seen each other in a week or so.. it was nice to catch up. I felt great working out on a Friday morning even though Friday is my non workout day, so it was a nice change. Ruth would be proud.. remind me to tell her that I actually did CARDIO on a day off.. I should get a bonus for that... (No Lunges for a week)

Me and Tim had lunch with Nathan and Ryan today at the school, we went and had lunch with Nathan at 11:00am and then took him to the school book fair and let him pick out what he wanted, and then ate lunch with Ryan at 11:30 at the school and took him to the book fair to get something.... so it was nice and it was even better that Tim came along.. he has never been to the school for lunch before. I try and do that once a month to spend some quality time with each of them, it makes it special.

I am tired today, but I think it's the weather.. rainy weather makes it harder to get into anything.. especially if you have to go out! Nathan and Ryan have 2 friends spending the night (they are brothers), so it's cool.. they are good kids.. should be a good time for them! It's been a while since they had a sleep over! They are not rowdy kids, so it should be a nice quiet time.. they will watch movies and play Play Station 3 I am sure! I might take Chris to the mall tonight to get dress clothes for his Easter events going on through the church he goes to.... so we might do that, depends on how tired I am... I hate the mall sometimes, it can be so over crowded!

Tim and I are going out tomorrow night and then Sunday is going to be a relaxing day I think.. we will see... me and relaxing day is never used in the same sentence, so I dont want to jinx it!

Tired Tuesday Zzzz Zzzz

Ever have one of those days where you dont feel like doing anything and you could just stay in bed all day and sleep? Today is one of those days for me..

Ruth my personal trainer she really kicked my butt this morning.. she made me do this routine called "Filthy Fifty" Yup.. it's filthy alright.. I did 50 pullups, 50 lunges, 50 Weight Presses, 50 Squats, 50 Hammer Squats, 50 step ups and 50 crunches... I am weak and lethargic right now lol. I always thought it was about weight lifting, but I never knew what a true workout was until I started training with Ruth. Dont get me wrong, Jose was great, he was all about the weights, but Ruth is about kicking ass all over! BUT she promised me that if I got through this routine with her, and did cardio tonight, that Thursday I could do whatever I wanted to do.. so I am looking forward to that! I said to her "bench pressing baby" she said "ok than do this" so I won... I get to do what I want Thursday.

Eh we'll see what happens.. but a nap is sounding great right now :)

Tornado Season is Here!

Well many of you know that Tornado season is my favorite season of the year weather wise! March, April and May.. I ENVY the storm chasers who do this for a living.. my one dream is to knock off 2 of my biggest loves in one shot.. to see a tornado and take a photo of it! Next year I am thinking about taking the Tornado Chasing Tour for a week! To travel in a weather van with experts and chase super cell storms.. some photographers get some of the best shots on these tours and I am so wanting to do this more than anything! You travel with a small group of people in these cool weather radar vans and you get to read maps and track cells and all kinds of things.. give reports while your traveling with them. When storms are about, you literly get to CHASE storms with the professionals. You get to get out and take photos from a distance.. sometimes they get close as well. It's not just about chasing storms, it's about learning as well.. that's one of the things I would love most about it, is the learning aspect of it, and of course the addrenelin rush from it would be fun too!

I have to book it this year to get in next year.. until then I just love tracking storms on this great program, and just love being a weather enthusiast! I live for these months of the year...My husband says that if I ever do witness one, I would probably pass out, and I think he's right.. as long as it's not coming towards me, I will be ok!

Me and My Baby

I cannot believe how big Nathan has gotten, and it's hard to believe he is 9 years old.. I remember the day he was born, it was like yesterday.. they grow up way too fast! Pretty soon Nathan will be taller than me, then all my kids will be taller than me.. although it's not hard for anyone to be taller than me seeing I am only 5'2" . . . but Nathan is def a Deschenes... he looks alot like my dad more so than the Courcy's ...
